Today, the first stage of the Walk of Peace from Einsiedeln Abbey to Schloss Hohenfels began.
With open hearts and a shared intention for peace, the walkers set out together on their journey.
The first day brought beautiful landscapes, quiet moments and the joy of walking side by side.
Every step is more than a distance travelled β
it is a gentle reminder that peace grows
when we choose to walk it together.
The second day of the Walk of Peace brought new companions to the journey.
With every person who joins, the shared intention of peace becomes a little stronger. Along the Way of St. James, every step is an invitation to walk together, to connect and to carry peace into the world.
The journey continues β with open hearts, new encounters and growing community.

The third day of the Walk of Peace
continued through the beautiful
Swiss countryside.
Today, nature surprised the walkers with
a remarkable sight
as many birds of prey circled above them.
It became one of those quiet moments
that reminds us how deeply connected
we are to the world around us.
Every day brings new encounters,
unexpected gifts and fresh inspiration
along the journey.

Todayβs stage was the most challenging so far,
leading the walkers over the HΓΆrnli
and on to Fischingen Monastery.
The steep ascent required endurance,
but the reward was unforgettable:
breathtaking views, peaceful encounters with nature and a deep sense of gratitude.
Along the way, the walkers met llamas and roe deer, reminding us once again
that every journey brings
unexpected gifts to those
who keep walking.
Sometimes a journey changes
in ways we never expect.
After spending the night at
Fischingen Monastery,
the group continued their Walk of Peace.
Due to an allergic reaction after an insect sting,
Anna had to end her journey earlier than planned.
Thankfully, she received immediate medical care and is now recovering well.
Although Annaβs walk came to an unexpected end, the memories remain:
peaceful landscapes,
meaningful encounters, shared conversations
and countless moments of gratitude.
The Walk of Peace continues
with the remaining pilgrims,
carrying forward the same spirit of hope, friendship and peace.
We wish Anna a full and speedy recovery
and thank her for sharing so many
beautiful moments along her journey.
ποΈEvery step leaves a trace.
Every shared moment continues the journey.

Today the pilgrims continued their Walk of Peace through forests,
meadows and picturesque villages,
following the signs that slowly lead them towards Hohenfels.
Along the way, they discovered small gestures of kindness:
a welcoming bench with soft cushions, fresh drinking water and quiet places to rest.
After visiting St. Martinβs Chapel,
the peaceful castle garden offered welcome shade before the day ended
with a refreshing swim in Lake Constance.
With each shared step,
the destination comes a little closerβ
not only on the map, but also in the hearts of those walking together.
ποΈ Peace grows one step, one encounter and one shared moment at a time.

After days of walking together, the pilgrims arrived safely at Schloss Hohenfels.
The journey led through peaceful forests, open landscapes and places of quiet reflection. Every stage brought new encounters, shared experiences and moments of gratitude.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked, supported and accompanied this Walk of Peaceβwhether on the path itself or in spirit.
The destination has been reached, but the journey of peace continues.
ποΈ Peace is not the end of the road. It is the way we continue walking together.

The walk has led us here
Now we celebrate peace together.
Two days of meeting, sharing, celebrating and simply BEING.

Every evening at 6:00 p.m.,
the bells of Schloss Hohenfels invite everyone to walk
together to the chapel.
As the bells begin to ring,
the participants leave the hall and make their way together towards the chapel.
There, Rudolf Steinerβs βLordβs Prayerβ
marks the beginning of a shared moment of reflection,
silence and community.
This video accompanies that journeyβ
from leaving the hall, through the ringing of the bells,
to prayer and shared singing in the chapel.
π A small glimpse into the unique atmosphere
of the Walk of Peace Gatheringβ
shaped by community, mindfulness and peace.

Today, the walkers continued their journey from Fischingen Monastery, crossing the HΓΆrnli and reaching Steg.
Along the way, they discovered wild herbs, colourful insects and felt blessed by the kites circling gracefully above them.
The breathtaking view from the summit and a spontaneous meeting with Birgitta, Pierre and their granddaughter became special gifts of the day.
The evening ended with a warm meal prepared by their hostsβand hearts full of gratitude for another beautiful day on the Walk of Peace.

One long staircase became a quiet reminder.

As Conny walks, Erikaβs voice gently accompanies the journey.
ποΈ Every step can become a song of peace.
After a warm farewell to Georg and Aurora, the walkers began the third stage refreshed by the cool morning air.
The route from Steg to Rapperswilled mostly downhill towards beautiful Lake Zurich.
Wide landscapes, quiet forest paths and breathtaking views accompanied every step.
After another hot summer day, the turquoise water of the lake became a welcome gift for tired feet.
β¨ This day truly felt like a gift.

One more song accompanied the final steps.
βDas Leben ist wie die Herrlichkeitβ¦β
As the walkers continue through the peaceful forest, Erikaβs voice fills the path with gratitude and quiet joy.
ποΈ The journey may end, but the peace continues.
The final stage led the walkers from
Rapperswil to Einsiedeln.
A beautiful path, shared with Brigitta,
made this last day especially meaningful.
The journey came full circle as Pierre welcomed the walkers back at Einsiedeln
Abbey, where everything had begun.
